I’m Ruthie, an interior designer who specializes in decorating small spaces on a budget. I developed my love of design and furniture at a young age. My grandfather ran an antique furniture business. He would often pick my siblings and me up from school, where we’d climb into his furniture van and sit seatbelt-less on the floor amongst his newest treasures. I never got tired of visiting his store to pick out tchotchkes and art for my bedroom. Before starting my interior design practice, I worked in tech and urban design in San Francisco and London. Today, I’m based in the city of endless secondhand finds (New York) where I live with my lab mix, Edie.
